I’ve always been sentimental, aware of moments even as they’re happening and wanting to hold onto them just a little longer.
Before this became my work, I was always making videos. Family trips, summers at camp, and small moments with people I loved. Editing those early films came naturally to me, and growing up with a photographer as a mom gave me an early understanding of what it means to preserve moments thoughtfully.
In 2020, I picked up my first mirrorless camera and created a short film at a wedding my mom was photographing. That experience made it clear this was what I wanted to do.
When I’m not filming, I’m usually spending time with the people I love, traveling whenever I can, or out on long walks with my golden retriever, Ivy. Those slower moments are where it's at for me!
Intimate weddings invite you to slow down. To be present. To celebrate with intention and meaning. They allow the day to feel less like a performance and more like an experience shared with the people who matter most.
I document from that same place. I do not stage moments or interrupt them. I watch, listen, and capture what unfolds naturally. Working with both digital and film, I create imagery that feels soft, emotional, and grounded in reality. The most beautiful stories are not created. They are noticed.
